Colleengwbooks ages 12-14

These are some books that I liked. Hope you do too!

I Would Tell You I Love You; But Then I Would Have to Kill You  by:

This book mostly appeals to girls. It is about a girl who is a spy and can speak 14 languages and kill a man several different ways. She goes to a rich boarding school and she meets this guy that she really likes and his friends dont like that school because they think that all the girls are spoiled so she lies! Will she get caught ... read it to find out!

Twilight and New Moon by: Stephenie Meyer

This series is one that I have read over and over again.I very highly recommened this series to people who like books with romance and action. The book mostly appeals to girls but boys can read it too. I have to say that it is not the best writing but it has a great topic. It is about a teenage girl Bella, who moves to a town called forks and meets a family of vampires that only suck animals blood. Bella falls in love with one of them, Edward, but I won't tell you any more.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians by: Rick Riordan

These books are a great example of good writing. They involve a lot of Greek Mythology so if you haven't learned about that yet you might want to look some stuff up. These books are good for both girls and boys. They include a lot of action and are funny. They are about a young boy who discovers that he is a demigod and that monsters are trying to kill him. He goes on many adventures that have something to do with greek mythology.

The Shadow Children Series by: Margaret Petterson Haddix

These books are about a country where families are only allowed to have two children and they kill the third children. The books main characters are third children in hiding. Will they survive? Read the books to find out! These books appeal to both boys and girls.

The Harry Potter Series by: JK Rowling

This series is another I repeated read. The books contains great writing and a good topic. The books are packed with action yet very funny. This book is for both boys annd girls alike. The books are about a youg wizard who's parents were killed by Voldemort. Voldemort is now hunting him down too...

The Tortall Books by: Tamora Pierce

These are a great series of books. There are about twenty of them. They have about 4 series within the big series. The characters in the all of them interelate so you will find that the same characters ar in one series that appear in another completely different series with the big series. They are mostly for girls but boys can read them too. Tamora Pierce has created a whole world of Magic and its hard to pick out which book to read first so I say you have to read Alanna: The First Adventure First and continue on with that series. Then i would read about her daughter In Tricksters Queen. Then it is whatever you feel like next but if you dont like one series I would move to another and maybe come back to it in like 6 months or something. These books go back to a time of sorcery and kinghts, which alanna becomes! So if you like books from the middle ages this is the book for you!

Princess Ben by: Catherine Murdock

This is a book about a princess whos parents are murdered and she comes upon a magic room where she learns some spells. It mostly for girls. You will have to read it to find out what happens!

Runaway by: Wendelin Van Draanen

Yes, I know what you are thinking, the authors name is really weird but who says weird isn't cool right! anyway this book is about a girl who runs away. She is determined not to be called homeless she calls herself a gypsy instead. This book mostly appeals to girls. This is a weird book but I like it!
